Que se saiba o Memorial é uma festa do minibasquetebol organizada pela federação portuguesa de Basquetebol, em várias localidades do País. Novas amizades surgem em Mangualde
Momento alto do “Plano de Actividades dos CNMB”, o Memorial Mário Lemos, decorreu nos dias 16, 17 e 18 de Dezembro em Mangualde, terra natal do professor. Cerca de 80 jovens e 20 treinadores celebraram um dos objectivos do mini: fazer novas amizades.
Reforçar laços entre os treinadores do mini e criar novos conhecimentos e amizades tem sido fundamental para a dinâmica do movimento do minibásquete em todo o país. O novo modelo do Memorial é mais um grande contributo para o conhecimento das diferentes realidades. Minis vindos do Alentejo, Aveiro, Braga, Bragança, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Guarda, Leiria, Lisboa, Porto, Setúbal, Viana de Castelo e Viseu juntaram-se aos minis de Mangualde para celebrarem o VI Memorial Mário Lemos. A festa, a amizade e o espírito de Natal estiveram presentes.
No meio dos treinos, jogos, brincadeiras com o casal dos ratos QUERU, piscina, estafetas em drible na cidade ainda houve tempo para fazer medições a todas os presentes. No somatório do rapaz e rapariga mais altos a AB Aveiro ficou em primeiro lugar e Viana do Castelo em segundo.
A cerimónia de abertura foi presidida pelo Vice-Presidente da Câmara de Mangualde e na cerimónia de encerramento todos os minis cantaram: “Mini é fazer amigos, mini é sensacional, para todos um bom Natal, para todos um bom Natal, que seja um bom Natal para todos vós.”
